In addition, arrangörer handle marketing, ticketing, and communications, as well as coordinating staff, vendors, transportation, and on-site operations. Many organizers work with partners, agencies, or subcontractors while retaining overall responsibility for the event.

Arrangörer can operate as sole proprietors, part of a company, or as part of a cooperative or public entity. They may work independently or as co-organizers (co-arrangörer) on larger projects. The role requires project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage contingencies and changes in plans. In practice, an arranger’s success is measured by the event’s execution, safety, attendee satisfaction, and post-event evaluation.
