In Hinduism, the lotus is associated with several deities, including Brahma, the creator god, who is often depicted emerging from a lotus. Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity, is also frequently depicted seated or standing on a lotus. The lotus symbolizes purity, beauty, spiritual awakening, and enlightenment.
