antiLy6C

antiLy6C is an antibody reagent that recognizes Ly6C, a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored surface antigen in the Ly6 family predominantly studied in mice. Ly6C is expressed on subsets of monocytes, some T lymphocytes and neutrophils, and is commonly used to distinguish circulating monocyte subsets (Ly6C-high inflammatory versus Ly6C-low patrolling monocytes).

antiLy6C reagents are available as monoclonal antibodies in a variety of formats and conjugates for applications including flow cytometry, fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and in vivo depletion or labeling studies. Commonly used applications pair antiLy6C with additional markers such as CD11b, CCR2, and CX3CR1 to define monocyte and myeloid populations more precisely.
