The performance of an amplificer is measured by several key parameters, including gain, bandwidth, distortion, and efficiency. Gain refers to the ratio of output signal amplitude to input signal amplitude. Bandwidth indicates the range of frequencies over which the amplificer can operate effectively. Distortion is an unwanted alteration of the signal's waveform. Efficiency describes how well the amplificer converts input power into output signal power, a critical factor in battery-powered devices. Amplificers are fundamental components in many electronic systems, enabling weak signals to be utilized or transmitted effectively.
