Altistuvia is a term used in Finnish public health and epidemiology to refer to individuals or population groups that are exposed to a specific hazard or risk factor. The concept distinguishes those who are exposed from those who are not, and it is central to risk assessment, surveillance, and the planning of protective measures. Exposures can be environmental, occupational, or related to lifestyle, and they may vary in type, duration, and intensity.
