Zuidplas

Zuidplas is a flooded grassland area in the Oss municipality in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. The land reserve of approximately 1700 hectares is located along the Beeck River and serves as a reliable water supply for agricultural and horticultural industries.

Established in 2003 through the collaboration of a number of landowners, the area allows licensed agricultural and horticultural undertakings to use its waters for irrigation purposes. Approximately 85 landowners, all based in the surrounding area, use the waters for their operations. The water from Zuidplas can be declined, redistributed, or increased based on seasonal requirements.
