Zonnebloem

Zonnebloem, scientifically known as Helianthus annuus, is a large annual plant that is cultivated as a crop for its edible seeds and oil. It was later introduced to Europe by explorers and quickly gained popularity for its ornamental beauty and practical uses. The seeds are a rich source of oil, which is widely used in cooking, and are also consumed as a snack, often roasted and salted.
