Zetar is a fictional extraterrestrial character who first appeared in the American science fiction television series *Lost in Space* (1965–1968). Created by writer Charles Bennett, Zetar is a young alien girl from the planet Zeta Prime, a planet similar to Earth. She is introduced as a stowaway aboard the spaceship *Jupiter-2*, which is carrying the Robinson family and their robot companion, the Robot, on a mission to colonize a new planet.

Zetar is depicted as intelligent, resourceful, and often acts as a mediator between the human crew and the Robot, who initially views humans with suspicion. Her presence adds a layer of intrigue to the series, as she is initially believed to be a spy or a threat. Over time, however, she proves her loyalty to the Robinsons and becomes an integral part of their journey.
