Zellseite

Zellseite is a German term that translates to “cell side” and is used in biology to refer to the side or surface of a cell that interfaces with its surroundings. The expression is not a fixed technical term in all disciplines, but it appears in German-language texts as a descriptive label for cell orientation within tissues or in diagrams.

In practice, Zellseite is often used to denote a particular face of a cell when describing polarity or spatial relationships.
