Zapysy is a fictional city-state located in the archipelago of the Syrin Isles on the continent of Eldara. In its lore, Zapysy serves as a major maritime and commercial center, known for craftsmanship, port facilities, and a diverse urban culture.

History: The city was founded in the 12th century by rival merchant guilds seeking independence from regional rulers. It grew as a free port with extensive harbor fortifications and a tradition of legal autonomy. Zapysy enjoyed a regional golden age during the 14th to 16th centuries, followed by modernization after the Great Conflicts and gradual integration into broader trade networks.

Geography and urban layout: Zapysy sits at the mouth of the Nira River, with two natural harbors that accommodate merchant fleets and fishing boats. The Old Town is built with coral-colored stone and narrow lanes, while the New District features timber-and-glass pavilions and wide waterfront promenades. The climate is temperate with sea breezes.
