Yhdistelmämateriaalina
Yhdistelmämateriaalina refers to a composite material in Finnish. Composite materials are engineered materials made from two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties which remain separate and distinct at the macroscopic or microscopic level within the finished structure. The goal is to create a material with characteristics different from its individual components. Typically, one material is a matrix, which surrounds and binds together the reinforcing material. Reinforcing materials are often fibers, particles, or flakes.
Common examples of composite materials include reinforced plastics, such as fiberglass (glass fibers in a polymer
