Yamana
The Yamana, also spelled Yámana or Yahgan, are an indigenous maritime people of Tierra del Fuego at the southern tip of South America. Traditionally they inhabited the archipelagos and coastal areas of what is now southern Chile and Argentina. They are closely associated with the Yaghan language, a language that is often regarded as an isolate within Fuegian languages and is now severely endangered with few fluent speakers remaining.
