Wypuky
Wypuky are small convex protuberances applied to the surface of ceramic vessels in Polish folk pottery. These raised domes are typically arranged in repeating patterns and serve as decorative texture as well as tactile grip. Wypuky vary in size from about 3 millimeters to 12 millimeters and are usually formed before the vessel is fired.
