Wranglers

Wranglers are people who wrangle, meaning they handle and manage animals, most often cattle or horses, on ranches, farms, or similarly arranged operations. The term is also used for individuals who manage animals in competitive or entertainment settings, such as film or television productions. On ranches, a wrangler is a crew member who works as part of a larger livestock operation. Tasks include selecting suitable animals, arranging transportation and housing, coordinating with trainers and directors, and ensuring compliance with animal-protection guidelines. Animal wranglers tailor their work to the needs of a production, often specializing by species such as horses, dogs, or exotic animals, and may work on location or in studios.
