Wolframové

Wolframové is a term that can refer to several related concepts, primarily concerning the element tungsten, whose chemical symbol is W. The German name for tungsten is Wolfram, which is the origin of the term. Therefore, "wolframové" in Czech and Slovak languages directly translates to "tungsten" or "of tungsten."

In a chemical context, "wolframové" might describe a compound containing tungsten, such as wolframové karbidy (tungsten carbides) or wolframové oceli (tungsten steels). These materials are known for their exceptional hardness, high melting point, and resistance to wear, making them valuable in industrial applications like cutting tools, drill bits, and high-temperature alloys.

The term can also be used in a more general sense to indicate something made from or related to tungsten. For example, a "wolframové vlákno" would be a tungsten filament, commonly found in incandescent light bulbs due to tungsten's ability to withstand high temperatures and emit light when heated.
