Wisconsin Whitewater, officially the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater (UWW), is a public university in Whitewater, Wisconsin. It is part of the University of Wisconsin System and is commonly referred to as UW–Whitewater or UWW.

The institution traces its roots to 1868, when it was founded as Whitewater Normal School to train teachers. It later became Wisconsin State Teachers College at Whitewater, then Wisconsin State University–Whitewater, before joining the University of Wisconsin System in the 1960s and adopting its current name.

UWW offers undergraduate and graduate programs across a broad range of disciplines. The university emphasizes teacher education, business, sciences, humanities, and professional studies, and it operates several schools and programs within the UW System that serve a regional population.

In athletics, UW–Whitewater is known as the Warhawks. The university competes in NCAA Division III and is a member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). The football program, in particular, has earned multiple NCAA Division III national championships, contributing to the school's athletic profile.

The campus serves a diverse student body with a wide array of student organizations, research opportunities, and community partnerships. It also serves as a regional hub for cultural events and continuing education, reflecting its role in higher education within southeastern Wisconsin.
