Watersource
Watersource is a general term used in hydrology and water resource management to denote a source of water that is or may be used for human consumption, agricultural irrigation, industrial processes, or ecological needs. Watersources can be natural or engineered and are characterized by their quantity, quality, reliability, and accessibility. The two broad categories are surface water, including rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, and groundwater drawn from aquifers through wells.
