Wandelgangen
Wandelgangen are long, covered corridors used as pedestrian passages in buildings, particularly in the Netherlands and other parts of northern Europe. The term Wandelgang (plural wandelgangen) literally means walking passage. These galleries run along the exterior or interior of a building, often linking wings or sections of a complex, and are typically lined with arches or columns and openings to courtyards or adjacent rooms.
