VäikeRekkos

Väike-Rekkos is a lake in the Võru County of southeastern Estonia. It lies on the Sõõru farmstead near the Sõõru forest. The lake has a surface area of approximately 1.4 hectares and has one drainage outlet. Väike-Rekkos is a landlocked lake, situated approximately 1.7 kilometers east of the Võru River. The lake and surrounding area are paralleled by the canyon of the Võrumaa slope.

Väike-Rekkos is part of an array of lakes in the Võru region. Several other small lakes are located near Väike-Rekkos, although no information is available on their individual surface areas. The Võru region is dominated by broad-leaved forests typical of the Eastern European low-lands. This region is inclusive of low hills and plains that supported forest treetops and a smattering of woodland - grassland. Agriculture, with cereals and potato cultivation, and animal husbandry are primary forms of land use in the area.
