Vinets
Vinets are an ethnolinguistic group native to the Vinari Archipelago, a coastal chain in the northern seas. The term Vinets also denotes their language, Vinetic, spoken by most island residents and by emigrant communities abroad. The archipelago comprises six inhabited islands, with Vinora as the largest. The population is estimated at about 20,000, plus a diaspora of several thousand in neighboring regions.
Vinetic is generally treated as an isolate with notable contact influences from Serric and Avaric languages.
