Verslagstuk

Verslagstuk is a Dutch term for a written document that presents a detailed account, analysis, and often conclusions or recommendations about a specific topic, investigation, or project. It is typically produced by a committee, commission, project team, or expert group and is intended to inform decision-making, serve as an official record, and facilitate debate or further actions.

A verslagstuk usually combines descriptive text with analytical elements. Common components include an introduction, scope and method, findings or arguments, conclusions, and recommendations, often accompanied by appendices, data, and references. The document is more extensive and structured than informal notes, and it is designed to be read as a self-contained account rather than as a summary of discussions.

Notulen, in contrast, record what was discussed and decided in a meeting, while a verslagstuk provides a formal, final analysis and recommended course of action.
