Verscheuring

Verscheuring is a Dutch noun that denotes the act or result of tearing or rupturing something. It derives from the verb verscheuren, to tear apart, and ends with the -ing suffix to indicate the action or condition. The term is used across several domains, primarily for the tearing of physical materials such as fabric, paper, or leather, where a verscheuring describes a tear or rupture that compromises the integrity of the object.
