Vashishtas

Vashishtas refers to a group of individuals in ancient Indian texts, primarily associated with the Vedic period. They are often depicted as sages, ascetics, and scholars who possessed deep spiritual knowledge and wisdom. The most prominent Vashishta is Sage Vashistha, a revered rishi credited with composing parts of the Rigveda and serving as a preceptor to prominent figures like Lord Rama in the epic Ramayana.
