Vashishta
Vashishta is a revered sage in ancient Indian tradition, prominent in Hindu scriptures, particularly the Vedas and the epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. He is widely regarded as one of the Saptarishis, the seven great sages. Vashishta is often depicted as the guru of Lord Rama, the protagonist of the Ramayana, and the royal priest of the Ikshvaku dynasty. His ashram, or hermitage, was a center of learning and spiritual wisdom.
