Varastoitavia

Varastoitavia is a Finnish term used in logistics and inventory management to describe items that are stored or intended to be stored. The word is formed from the verb varastoida (to store) and the participial suffix -tava, producing an adjective meaning "that can be stored." In plural contexts the form varastoitavia is used to modify nouns, for example in inventory lists or procurement documents (varastoitavia tavaroita).

In practice, varastoitavia items are those held in stock for future use, sale, or production, as distinguished from items in active use or in transit. The concept is a basic category in warehousing and supply chain management, helping to determine storage requirements, inventory levels, and replenishment strategies. The term can apply to a wide range of goods, including non-perishable products, raw materials, spare parts, and packaging materials.
