Vandal

A vandal is a person who commits vandalism, the deliberate destruction, defacement, or damage of property without permission. Acts can affect private property, public spaces, or cultural artifacts, and are typically carried out without consent or legal authorization.

The term vandalism derives from the Vandals, an East Germanic people known for sacking Rome in the 5th century.
