Valtamerissä is a Finnish-language online role-playing game (RPG) created by the developer **Tieto-Opisto**. Released in 2000, it was one of the first Finnish-made MMORPGs (massively multiplayer online role-playing games) and became particularly popular among Finnish-speaking players. The game was set in a fantasy world inspired by Finnish mythology, folklore, and medieval European traditions.

The game’s world, known as **Valtameri** (meaning "Kingdom of the Sea" in Finnish), features a richly detailed environment where players could explore lands, engage in quests, and interact with other players. Players could choose from various classes, such as warriors, mages, and rogues, each with unique abilities and progression paths.
