Vakiojännitelähteet, or constant voltage sources, are fundamental electronic components designed to maintain a stable output voltage regardless of changes in the load current or input voltage fluctuations. This stability is crucial for the proper functioning of many electronic circuits, protecting sensitive components from voltage variations that could lead to malfunction or damage.

The operation of a constant voltage source typically involves a feedback mechanism. This feedback loop continuously monitors the output voltage and adjusts internal parameters to compensate for any deviations. Line regulation quantifies how well the output voltage remains constant when the input voltage changes. Load regulation measures the output voltage stability as the load current varies.
