Swaging, also known as crimping, involves using a hydraulic press to permanently deform a metal sleeve or ferrule around the wire rope, creating a strong and compact termination. This method is often used for applications requiring a very clean and efficient connection. Splicing is a traditional technique where strands of the wire rope are interwoven to create a loop or eye. This method can provide a very strong and flexible termination, but it requires skilled labor and specific tools. The choice of vaijeriliitännät depends on factors such as the rope diameter, the load capacity required, environmental conditions, and the desired lifespan of the connection.
