Vaeloris is a fictional realm frequently featured in fantasy literature and role-playing settings. It is a temperate coastal region characterized by a mix of forested highlands, inland valleys, and river corridors. The capital city is Nystral, with other major urban centers including Sarenhold and Veldorin. The realm is traditionally divided into three broad zones: the Low Vale, the Mooncrest Highlands, and the Ember Marsh, each contributing to Vaeloris’s culture, economy, and defense.

Politically, Vaeloris operates as a constitutional monarchy in which the monarch serves a largely ceremonial role. Legislative and executive powers are exercised by a bicameral Assembly of Guilds and Nobles and an appointed High Chancellor who heads the government. The state emphasizes free trade, legal consistency, and a professional civil service. Vaeloris traces its institutional origins to a loose confederation of merchant communes formed in earlier centuries; it was later unified under the House of Morin following a succession-era conflict and has since prioritized neutrality in external disputes while maintaining robust commercial treaties.

The Vaeloric language dominates public life, though regional dialects and common trade languages are widely spoken.
