UÇKsës

UÇKsës, also known as the Kosovo Liberation Army, is a Kosovo Albanian paramilitary organization that operated during the Kosovo War in the 1990s. The organization was formed in 1996 by Hashim Thaçi, who served as its leader until his death in 2001. UÇKsës was established to defend Kosovo Albanians against Serbian forces and to promote the independence of Kosovo from Serbia.

The organization was involved in various military operations, including ambushes, sabotage, and attacks on Serbian military targets. UÇKsës also played a significant role in the protection of civilians and the establishment of a parallel administration in Kosovo. The organization's activities were often characterized by their guerrilla tactics and the use of improvised weapons.

In 1999, the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) was deployed to the region, leading to a gradual decline in UÇKsës's activities. The organization eventually disbanded in 2001, following the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement, which paved the way for Kosovo's independence. UÇKsës's legacy continues to be a subject of debate, with some viewing it as a symbol of resistance and others as a symbol of violence and conflict.
