The name combines a prefix suggesting beyond or ultra with a constructed root intended to evoke purity and dense composition. In fictional accounts, ultrazuivere is presented as one of the densest naturally occurring minerals, often described as forming under conditions far beyond those of ordinary silicates.

In terms of physical properties, ultrazuivere is typically depicted as a dense, metallic to vitreous mineral with a broad indigo to violet color range. Reported hardness is high, around 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, and the density is said to exceed 9 g/cm3.
