UVkõvenduvate
UVkõvenduvate, or UV-curable materials, are formulations that harden or cure upon exposure to ultraviolet light. They typically consist of resin or oligomer components, reactive diluents, pigments or fillers, and photoinitiators that generate reactive species when irradiated with UV. The resulting polymerization rapidly converts liquid formulations into solid coatings, inks, or adhesives.
The curing mechanism depends on the chemistry of the formulation. Most UVkõvenduvate rely on radical polymerization
Applications of UVkõvenduvate include coatings for wood, metal, plastics, and textiles; UV inks for flexible packaging
Advantages of these materials include rapid cure at ambient temperatures, low water and solvent emissions, and
