USCENTCOM

The United States Central Command, commonly known as USCENTCOM, is one of the eleven unified combatant commands of the United States Department of Defense. Its area of responsibility encompasses the Middle East, Northeast Africa, and Central Asia. USCENTCOM is tasked with a wide range of missions, including deterring aggression, building partner capacity, and responding to crises in its designated region. The command headquarters is located at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.
