UHFsignaalien, commonly referred to as Ultra High Frequency signals, represent a specific range within the radio frequency spectrum. This band typically spans from 300 MHz to 3 GHz, although the exact boundaries can vary slightly depending on the regulatory context. UHF signals are characterized by their shorter wavelengths compared to lower frequency bands. This characteristic influences their propagation behavior and the types of antennas typically used to transmit and receive them.

One of the primary applications of UHF signals is in broadcasting, including television and radio. Many terrestrial television channels historically operated within the UHF band. Mobile telephony also heavily utilizes UHF frequencies for communication between mobile devices and cellular towers.
