Tutkimusalueisiin

Tutkimusalueisiin refers to the organization of research activities into thematic areas that share topics, methods or aims. The term is used in Finnish higher education and research institutions to describe groups of related research topics and questions. It serves as a framework for planning, funding, reporting and evaluation of research activities.

The main purpose is to guide strategic planning, resource allocation, doctoral training and collaboration.
