Tulperi

Tulperi is a Finnish rock band from Lempäälä, Finland, formed in 1986. The band's music is a mix of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and hard rock, with complex song structures and introspective lyrics. They have released seven studio albums and have undergone several lineup changes throughout their career.

The band's original lineup included vocalist Aaro Ilves Jr., guitarist Olli Heinänen, bassist Heikki Laitinen, and drummer Tuomas Holopainen. Over the years, the lineup has changed, with Ilves and Heinänen being the notable constants. Tulperi's music often features intricate instrumental arrangements, concept album storytelling, and themes of introspection and spirituality. Musically, they have been compared to bands such as King Crimson, Rush, and Genesis.
