Tsüklonfiltrid
Tsüklonfiltrid, also known as cyclone separators or dust cyclones, are devices used to remove particles from a gas stream. They operate on the principle of centrifugal force. Gas containing entrained particles is introduced tangentially into a cylindrical or conical vessel. This creates a swirling vortex motion. Heavier particles are thrown outwards by centrifugal force and collect on the vessel walls, eventually falling to the bottom for removal. The cleaned gas, being lighter, is drawn off from the center of the vortex.
