Tsingrelated
Tsingtau is a Chinese name that was widely used for the title of the Treaty of Shimonoseki. The treaty was signed on April 17, 1895, by theEmpire of Japan and China (Qing dynasty) after Japan's victory in the First Sino-Japanese War. However, in Western countries, the treaty was sometimes referred to as the Treaty of Tientsin, which referred specifically to the city of Tianjin that was signed in accordance with the treaty.
