Tropikalne is a fictional village and municipality in the country of Veridia, located in the Veridian Highlands on the banks of the Verda River. It lies about 62 kilometers north of the national capital and covers an area of 42 square kilometers.

Founded around 1796 by agrarian settlers, Tropikalne grew as a market town and gained municipal rights in 1883. The settlement served as a local hub for farming communities and forest products, and today it retains a strong rural character while expanding its services to residents and visitors.

Geography and climate: The area features rolling farmland, mixed forests, and the river corridor that shapes local land use. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and cool winters, influenced by elevation and proximity to the river. Seasonal rainfall supports orchard and field crops.

Demographics and economy: The population is about 2,100 (as of 2022). The community is predominantly Veridian-speaking, with small numbers of other language groups. The economy relies on fruit orchards, vegetables, forestry, and a growing tourism sector centered on nature and cultural heritage.

Culture and infrastructure: Tropikalne hosts the Spring Festival annually and maintains a library and community center. The town is served by regional roads, a daily bus link to the capital, a primary school, and a small clinic. Local crafts and culinary traditions reflect agricultural life and forest resources.

Sights and landmarks: Tropikalne Botanical Garden, Verda River promenade, and the ruins of the Old Mill attract visitors and serve as focal points for community events and education.
