Tromboosid refers to the formation of a blood clot, known as a thrombus, within a blood vessel. This clot can obstruct the normal flow of blood. Thrombosis can occur in both arteries and veins. Arterial thrombosis often leads to conditions like heart attack or stroke, as the clot can block blood supply to vital organs. Venous thrombosis, commonly occurring in deep veins of the legs, can cause swelling and pain.
