Trobatrova is a mineral term used in speculative geology and fictional world-building. It denotes a rare silicate-oxide mineral described as possessing a layered, plate-like crystal habit and a distinctive olive-green to dark-brown color. In published fiction and educational simulations, trobatrova is presented as a dense mineral with moderate hardness and high anisotropy. It is not an established mineral name in real-world mineralogy.

Etymology: The name trobatrova is a constructed term, combining phonemes from several languages within the fictional setting; there is no universally accepted etymology outside that context.

Occurrence and properties: In its canonical fictional description, trobatrova forms in hydrothermal pegmatites associated with magnetite, quartz, and apatite. Typical properties include Mohs hardness around 6, a refractive index near 1.73, vitreous luster, and a measured density around 4.0–4.5 g/cm3. The mineral exhibits strong birefringence and uniaxial optical behavior in most described samples. It remains thermally stable to about 800°C in the simulations.
