Trelastindustrien, or the timber industry, encompasses the harvesting of forests, primary processing into sawn timber and panels, and the distribution of wood products for construction, furnishings, and energy. It includes forestry management, sawmilling, plywood and veneer production, engineered wood such as glue-laminated timber and cross-laminated timber, as well as wood-based bioenergy.
