Transvinylation

Transvinylation is a chemical reaction in organic synthesis that involves the transfer of an acyl group from one compound to another via a vinyl ester intermediate. This process is a specialized form of acylation, where the acyl group migrates from a carboxylic acid or derivative to an alcohol or phenol, facilitated by a vinyl ester catalyst.
