Transfuusiota
Transfuusiota, known in English as blood transfusion, is a medical procedure where blood or blood components are given to a person intravenously. This is done to replace blood lost due to surgery or injury, or to help the body replace blood cells that are not being produced adequately. Blood transfusions are a common and often life-saving medical treatment.
The process involves carefully matching the donor blood to the recipient's blood type to prevent a transfusion
Red blood cell transfusions are used to treat anemia, which is a condition characterized by a deficiency
Transfusion reactions, although rare, can occur. These can range from mild allergic reactions to severe, life-threatening
