Transfrontier
Transfrontier is an adjective used to describe something that crosses or operates across political borders between states or regions. The term is applied in geography, politics, ecology, and development to denote activities, spaces, or institutions that span more than one country and require cross-border cooperation. In conservation and land-use planning, the related concept is a Transfrontier Conservation Area, a network of protected areas that share biodiversity and ecological processes across national boundaries.
