Traiano
Traiano, or Marcus Ulpius Traianus, commonly known in English as Trajan, was a Roman emperor who ruled from 98 to 117 CE. He was born in 53 CE in Italica, Hispania Baetica, into a provincial family of Italian origin and pursued a successful military and administrative career. He was adopted by his predecessor Nerva in 97 CE and succeeded him the following year.
