Tourettelike
Tourettelike is a term used to describe individuals who exhibit motor and/or vocal tics that resemble those seen in Tourette Syndrome, but do not meet the full diagnostic criteria for the disorder. This can occur for a variety of reasons, including other neurological conditions, substance use, or developmental factors. It is important to distinguish Tourettelike presentations from Tourette Syndrome to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
In some cases, tics resembling Tourette Syndrome can be a symptom of another underlying neurological disorder.
