Toteutuskaudella

Toteutuskaudella is a Finnish term that denotes the time period during which a project or program is implemented and its activities are carried out. It refers to the execution phase of a project, and is distinct from the planning phase and from post-implementation evaluation. The term sets the timeframe for delivering outputs and achieving intended outcomes.

The concept is commonly used in Finnish public administration, project management, and grant contracts. It is typically defined in project documents, funding agreements, and monitoring plans. The toteutuskausi may span several years and can differ from the overall funding period; in many programs, funding is allocated in phases while the implementation runs through a longer duration within the program timeline.

If milestones are not met, adjustments to plans or resources may be made within the same toteutuskausi.
