Torils

Torils is a fictional planet featured in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. It is the primary world where most adventures in the Forgotten Realms take place. The planet is a terrestrial world with a single moon named Selûne. Torils has a diverse geography, featuring continents, oceans, mountain ranges, deserts, and frozen wastes. The climate varies widely across its surface, supporting a multitude of ecosystems and intelligent lifeforms.

The history of Torils is vast and complex, marked by cycles of creation, destruction, and the rise and fall of civilizations. Ancient empires, magical cataclysms, and divine interventions have shaped its current state. The gods play a significant role in the lives of Torils' inhabitants, with a pantheon of deities influencing various aspects of existence.
